Slender, feathery stems rise from each end and branch out into curling vines that meet at a pale centre scattered with tiny flowers. Four arched panels filled with swirling paisleys sit in the corners, framed by a border of paisley motifs, and a row of arches leads into a striped pallu of rust, claret, olive, slate and charcoal at each end. The pale ground keeps the design light and easy to wear, while the earthy tones give it depth. It's woven on a double-beam loom, which uses two sets of warp threads to build a tighter, fuller weave.
